Why can't people hear me when I use the phone?
This problem is generally experienced when using the ClearSounds Amplified Telephone with Speakerphone & Caller ID. You may not realize that you are depressing the button on the handset. When this button is pressed it provides extra power to the receiver, but will mute or disable your outgoing voice. Make sure that you're not pressing the handset button. Sometimes this happens because the curled handset cord has not been inserted completely or correctly into the handset or into the phone.
